Forest Whitaker To Star In The Remake Of The Miniseries, “Roots”!

It has been announced that Forest Whitaker will star in the remake of the miniseries, “Roots!”  He will be joined by Lawrence Fishburne and Anika Noni Rose!  So…who will play Kunta Kinte?  None other than Malachi Kirby! The remake is set to air on the History Channel, A & E, and Lifetime.  No word yet on the actual release date, but I will definitely keep you posted.  So, stay tuned into the Olympia D.
