Unfortunately, when disaster strikes, scammers come out to play.  Their mission is to take advantage of victims and defraud them out of their hard earn dollars and their disaster relief funds. However, do not fall prey to these malicious acts!  Listen to Financial Planner and Educator, Jackie Cummings Koski as she talks to Olympia D for your Money Matter Monday segment. The two discussed the actions victims should take and red flags to search for as you navigate your recovery from Hurricane Helene.  As Jackie discusses, there are lot of scams out there, with the most common being centered around home repairs and charities. So be cautious and keep a healthy dose of skepticism.
