Illumine Church in Rock Hill is spreading holiday cheer by giving away more than 6,000 Thanksgiving meals. Volunteers began preparing the meals on Sunday and finished Wednesday, with meals being served starting at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day and continuing until all food is distributed.

According to WCCB, this marks the 58th year the church has provided free meals to those in need. The meals will include turkey, green beans, candied yams, pumpkin pie, and more. For those unable to pick up a meal, delivery is available by calling 803-389-2939. In addition, over 800 turkeys were sent to victims of Hurricane Helene in Asheville. Organizers are still accepting volunteers.
