Beyonce’s charitable foundation BeyGOOD is providing $2.5 million to support recovering families from the Los Angeles fires.

BeyGOOD, established in 2013, will provide financial assistance to Altadena and Pasadena families impacted by the wildfires.

In addition to supporting families who lost their homes and goods, BeyGOOD will help churches and community centers in other affected communities meet the urgent needs of fire victims.

The fires have resulted in at least 24 deaths and the destruction of 12,000 structures, prompting severe fire warnings in Los Angeles.

Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, also lost her home in the fires, emphasizing the bravery of first responders and disaster workers in the face of the ongoing crisis.

Several groups, including BeyGOOD, have pledged funds to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

On Friday (January 10), Disney offered $15 million to community relief and reconstruction, while Paramount and Fox Corp. donated $1 million to the American Red Cross and Los Angeles Fire Department. Warner Music and Blavatnik Foundation pledged $1 million to Los Angeles fire relief and reconstruction today

Live Nation will host a FireAid benefit concert at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome on January 30 in addition to money donations. The February 2 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles will undoubtedly raise money for the city and its music lovers.
