Black Notes Project Brings Phenomenal Jazz to Charlotte

If you aren’t familiar with Sainted or Trap Jazz music, the Black Notes Project is providing the Queen City a look into the latest innovation of the contemporary and traditional jazz sound. Mike Kitchen and Amy Carlton, Founders of Sol Kitchen, a live music and events production company, has collaborated with the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and other Charlotte venues to expand the palette of music lovers. From a Symphony of Jazz to the Evolution of Jazz, featuring Sainted Trap Choir and Trap Jazz, Mike and Amy has a line-up of exciting performances. ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland talked with Mike and Amy about their week long roster of events.
