Low visibility on Monday evening caused travel disruptions at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, according WBTV. The flight tracker reported that all inbound flights were being held at their departure points due to “low clouds,” with the hold expected to last until 6:30 p.m.
Charlotte airport officials downplayed the situation, stating it was not significant. By 6 p.m., more than 180 delays were reported at the airport.
