Iredell Health System to Offer Mammograms in Mooresville

Iredell Health System is offering a new initiative, “Mammo Mondays,” to make mammograms more accessible to women. Starting today, women can walk in or schedule same-day appointments at Iredell Imaging in Mooresville every Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (with the last walk-in accepted at 4 p.m.).
According to WBTV, the program encourages women over 40 to receive their yearly mammogram, a crucial step in early breast cancer detection. Regular mammograms can save lives by catching cancer early.
Insurance is accepted, and self-pay options are available at $175, which includes all costs. Appointments are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and regular appointments are also available Monday through Friday.
