Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Expected Sunday Night to Monday

A slow-moving storm system that has brought severe weather to the eastern U.S. over the past few days will bring showers and thunderstorms to the Carolinas this evening and into tomorrow. As the cold front moves east, rain will spread across the region. According to WBTV, strong to severe storms are possible tonight, with the potential for damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and heavy rainfall. On Monday, expect heavy rain and breezy conditions, with downpours continuing throughout the day but shifting south of I-85 by the afternoon.
